Wow, what a night, the official May Day celebration. Moonalice opened, a group made of seasoned musicians from Jefferson Airplane, GE Smith from Saturday Night live band and others, opened up with a slow psychedelic sound, reminiscent of the Grateful Dead of the 60s and 70's. Tea Leaf Green, with ALO bassist currently on tour, killed it with high energy rock and roll, great guitar licks, vocal and singing. Both bands also had a tremendous light show.
